So for the past week, Christopher has been learning how to use the "Big Boy Potty!" We started the "process" (and I was informed by my "in-house" pediatrician that is exactly what this is) last Friday and I am very pleased to say that one week later he is really doing well. He is telling us when he needs to go potty and we have been pretty much accident free for about a week now. Of course I know we still have a ways to go, I haven't even begun to think about nap time or bed time. Once again Christopher has far exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled to have this much of this milestone under our belt before Baby #2 arrives. The Lord truly blessed us with an amazing child, sometimes Cory and I get a little scared at what He may have in store for us with this next one!!
Here is a picture of Christopher, proudly showing off his "Big Boy Underwear". By the way, I got corrected by Cory for referring to them as "Big Boy Panties."

Happy Birthday Cory!
Today, my wonderful husband celebrated his 31st birthday. I am so proud of all that he has accomplished in his 31 years and look forward to spending the next 31 (at least!) together. He is an amazing father and I feel so blessed that our children will have him for a role model for many years to come.
To celebrate the occasion tonight the three of us went to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and then came back home to open presents and eat cake and ice cream. The cake is compliments of my neighbor, Stephanie. I think she should start a business. Her cakes are SO cute and they are delicious too!!

Mark Your Calendars!!!
THURSDAY, APRIL 3, 2008...Baby Locke will make his or her debut into this world! As most of you know, Christopher ended up being a c-section baby so his brother or sister will follow in his footsteps and we have officially scheduled the c-section. It is sort of strange to have this date and know when the baby will come (assuming I don't go into labor early or anything) but in many ways it is nice to be able to plan accordingly. Of course this has sort of sent me into a panic of how little I have actually done to prepare for this little one...boxes of baby clothes are sitting in my garage just waiting for me to sort through the ones that can be re-used, but hopefully all of that will get done. However, I know April 3rd will be here before we know it!!
Here is a picture of my growing belly. I had someone ask me at church on Sunday, if it would be "any day now"....um, no try two and a half more months! Nice. So I can't really believe I'm posting this picture of myself but oh well...

Fire Station Fun!
On Wednesday of this week, our little buddy Drew Dube celebrated his 2nd birthday! As a special treat for Drew, we got to go take a tour of the Frisco Fire Station. My how the boys LOVED getting to see those fire trucks up close, sitting in them, ringing the bell, and pretending to drive!! It was so much fun. The firemen couldn't have been nicer about showing us around....we just popped in on them with no warning, but it didn't seem to bother them one bit. They told us that they host birthday parties for kiddos age 4 and up all the time. However, they are already completely booked every Saturday for 2008 so if you are thinking of doing this I suggest you contact them early!!!

Steamboat, CO
We got to spend the past few days in Steamboat Springs, CO with family. It was really a great time. I always love being up in the mountains in the winter with all the snow. It is so pretty. Even though I don't like to ski, I will take a vacation in the mountains any day just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The highlight of the trip for me was playing in the snow with Christopher. We built two snowmen and Cory made a great snow cave and big snow slide that Christopher just couldn't get enough of. What memories we made!
