We had Lucy baptized on Sunday at our church, St. Andrew United Methodist. The service was lovely and we were blessed to be surrounded by lots of family on this special day.
For me, the sacrament of infant baptism is such a reminder that Lucy is a child of God. He has entrusted me to be her mother during her time here on earth and I am so very thankful and blessed to have that responsibility. It is my hope and prayer that Lucy will be able to feel the love God has for her, through Cory and me. That she will one day come to know Jesus on her own and allow her relationship with Him to flourish.
As a mother, baptism also reminds me that Cory and I are not here raising these children on our own. The Lord is with us every step of the way, guiding us through the good times and carrying us through the bad ones.

Sunday was a very special day as Lucy was surrounded by family and the love of God was evident as you and Cory took another step in raising your children. God bless you as you continue in this job that the Lord has entrusted unto you. Love you and thankful to be part of a special day. Love, Mom
That is a gorgeous picture of her and can I just say that I like it how you can see your pearls in there? Not sure why but I think it's super sweet.
That is such a precious post! I miss you guys...
Lucy is a beautiful girl and so blessed to be part of your family!
